Rent a boat from Boat Rental Randstad Recreaties in Rijswijk and escape the daily rhythm and the hectic that comes with it. While sailing with our electrically powered boats you will find complete relaxation. No roaring and smelly fuel engine, but the sound of rippling water and for example the wide views and nature of the Delf- and Westland region. In other words…environmentally friendly enjoyment of sailing yourself with our electric sloops.
We have put together several interesting sailing routes for you. At 4 1/2 hours sailing the most populair trip is the round trip ‘Midden Delfland’ with, among other things, the possibility to also navigate the canals of Delft’. Other round trips are ‘Westland’ and ‘Honselerdijk’, All itineraries include a folder with information about the sights you pass.

TAKE YOUR DOG ON BOARD:
Would you like to bring your dog on board? That is possible with us! You can book the ‘DOG PACKAGE’ while making your reservation. The dog package consists of a drinking bowl, towel and life jacket on loan. And a bottle of water, dog treats, wipes in case of an “accident” and final cleaning.
Would you like to have a drink and a snack at Brasserie ‘De Buytenplaets’ before, during or after sailing with our boats, it is advisable to book a table in advance. With nice weather it is often very busy.

Parking: Located in the district ‘Rijswijk-Buiten’ at a short walking distance from Brasserie ‘De Buytenplaets’. The parking lot of Brasserie ‘De Buytenplaets’ itself is only available for guests of the Brasserie. You may therefore ‘load and unload’ here, but not park!
Bicycle / Scooter
Brasserie “De Buytenplaets” has sufficient parking spaces for bikes and scooters for guests of the Brasserie. Should there be space left, you may park your bicycle there, otherwise elsewhere in the neighborhood.
Public transportation
Please use public transportation as much as possible to travel to De Buytenplaets jetty. From Delft, bus 61 stop terras van Sion (about 5 minutes walk). From Rijswijk, bus 61 stop Persijnslaan (about 5 minutes walk). Plan your journey by public transport here: www.9292.nl
Important information
Deposit
The deposit of €100 cash must be paid in cash before sailing and is also the “own risk” in case of damage. Upon return, if no damage has occurred, the deposit will be refunded immediately. Alternatively, you can leave your debit or credit card!
Cancellation Policy
Up to 72 hours (3 days) before departure a booking can simply be changed. We charge a € 10,00 administration fee and any extra charge for the newly chosen date.
If you cancel up to 24 hours before departure, we will charge 25% of the rental amount. If you book the same day for a new date in the same sailing season, we will only charge 10% change fee.
If you cancel within 24 hours before departure or do not show up, we will charge you the full rental amount. After all, we reserved a vessel for you and may have had to sell “no” to other guests who wanted to sail.
If a reserved vessel is not available at the agreed location 1 hour after the start of the reserved rental period and the lessee cannot offer a reasonable alternative, then the lessee is entitled to a refund of the agreed rental fee.
Bad weather clause
In case of bad weather (prolonged rain, strong winds and/or thunderstorms) Randstad Recreies reserves the right to cancel reservations or move them to another preferred date and time block. In any case we will cancel from code yellow (see also KNMI warnings).

On board is a comprehensive cruising map and a folder equipped with lots of information about the sights and historic buildings you pass. Download the free app ‘SLOEPENNETWERK’. All possible waterways can be found on this app and you always know where you are in real time.

If you want to have a snack and a drink at Brasserie ‘De Buytenplaets’ before or after sailing, it is advisable to reserve a table in advance. In fine weather it is often very busy. On the website www.buytenplaets-sion.nl you will find more information about the brasserie and the B&B and you can book a table online.
Due to the small-scale and friendly nature of the brasserie, online reservations can be made for a maximum of 4 people. By phone or e-mail in advance by arrangement up to a maximum of 6/8 persons.
